Coming soon...out newest addition..


Every time that we go to Brynn's FAVORITE store Walmart, (she asks daily if we can go to Walmart)we have to make sure that we see:
1- The Elmo live dancing doll
2- The juice and fruit snacks
3- The bikes
4- And last but not least her favorite..the fish.
So me and Kory decided that, being the cool parents that we are,to buy Brynn two 28 cent goldfish. I know what your thinking..it really doesn't get much better than that. Any who Brynn LOVES them. She will just sit and stare and them FOREVER! She even named them..Dorthy and "The orange one"...aka..Nemo.
Any who day 3..still loving the fish, then we noticed that one had made its way right on up to the top. Yes, that is correct, it has passed away..:(
So Kory took care of the business and we still had Dorthy. Brynn would ask.."Where did the other one go?"...and "Orange one comin back?"
Well just recently Dorthy took a turn for the worst as well. These stupid fish sure are hard to keep alive! It's a good thing they run 28 cents a pop. Anyway Brynn was sitting up on the counter looking at the fish shouting..."DORFHY WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" Aw..broke my heart..also gave me a great laugh for the day! So I guess we will go back to the wonderful Walmart and look for our new additions... Dorthy the Second and The orange one Jr.

Those are hard to keep alive. I think I went through about 30 of them between age 19 to 22. Good luck. Cute story though!

That is a good idea to get fish for kids but they do die so fast which sucks. Brynn is so cute with the way she talks.

We used to have fish until the day that Rylie put bubble bath in the tank. Great bubbles but the fish just couldn't handle it. I quit being a cool parent when she wanted a hamster or gerbil instead. Brynn is so cute. I love your blog. LeAnn

I have yet to be a cool parent. Pets are really just hard for me! EVEN FISH! I don't want to clean the tank I don't want to look at a tank...My kids would pull in onto the floor! You get props for being cool! It's a good thing the Brynn will be happy with new ones. She isn't old enough to get "attached" to one fish, so that is super.

I am the WORST blogger ever! We haven't had the Internet since we moved to Delta. So basically the last year has been CRAZY! After our last blog post we.... *Built a new home..(which ALMOST ended me and Kory's 6 year marriage) *Spent many summer days and the Rez and park. *Brynn started pre-school *Shayne developed her fun,sassy,aggressive,loud,funny personality *We celebrated our 6th year of marriage *Brynn's 5th year of life *Kory started his own heating and air business *Christmas And now here we are in 2012 and Shayne is about to turn 2. There was alot more in that year but I don't remember. We are loving our new house! It is so nice to have room to put things! Now for the kidlets... Brynn... Right now she is going through a phase. You know, when I woke up this morning I was laying in bed wondering what I was going to do today. Saturdays are pretty lonely now with Kory working all the time. Well lucky for me, I had a part of my morning already planned without even knowing it. What a wonderful day today..it's 10:22 and I have already had my 3 year old tell me.. "Mom, I am getting married today, and I also have my baby coming to my wedding"..(as she proceeds to stick her little belly out as far as it can go.) "I will go get ready." Wow.
