Two BIG surprises..one not so great..the other, WONDERFUL!

So we were asked to speak in Sacrament meeting and today was the big day. I was so nervous because we had such a hard topic to talk on. "Sustaining your leaders"...pretty self explanatory don't you think? How do you come up with material for that topic..and I didn't really have any personal experiences either. I guess it is just something that you do. Anyway..we show up to church and sit on the side bench cause we have Brynn, and as the bishop is getting up to start things there is NO ONE sitting up on the stand. I turned to Kory panicked as ever saying.."Oh my gosh..are we the only ones speaking?!?!" Well needless to say YES! We were it! It was the Morris Family Sacrament! I thought for sure there was another couple or a high council man..nope..I was wrong. But I guess there was a song in between Kory and I. Well after my 8 min. talk Kory had the remainder of the time and did an AWESOME job! He managed to talk till about 5 to, so I was really impressed! I was glad that we didn't have to resort to Brynn singing her ABC's for the congregation. I am SOOO glad that is over with and hope next time we can be a little more prepared!
Anyways for a piece of good news..
Whenever Kory gets me a gift he can NEVER keep it a secret. So for my valentines present he has been asking me.."Do you just want it now..", or "I know you can use it", or " I can't wait just open it"...So after begging and begging I finally gave in. (Once again no surprise on the actual holiday) Oh well it was TOTALLY worth it and I LOVE IT!...

It plays movies and everything! I am going to have to get a teacher to learn how to use this thing cause I am not up with technology in these areas. But He is the BEST and I LOVE it so so so much! HAPPY EARLY VALENTINES DAY TO ME! ;)

We just spoke on sunday too! Our topic was on being 'prepared'. Also a hard topic if you ask me. How much can you say about food storage??? Ha ha, it turned out all right. Dont you just hate speaking. I sound like such an idiot when I speak in front of a large group of people, or a small group for that matter. I am excited to see you!
Jenny, I am sure you did GREAT!! I am always glad when someone else has those experiences. It always stresses me totally to have to talk or pray or anything else in front of people. It scares me to death. I love you blog. Brynn is so cute and by the way I love her "80's bangs".
