UPDATE....
Well first of all I want to follow up on one of the previous posts about the potty training...this is how it was going at first..
I thought ..Wow! She is doing so good! And this is how it is going now....

This is her 'SASSY'..."NO! I Don't wanna go in the potty"..face. And her sassy.."It's mine! It's Brynnies" face,...and her..."I want fruit snacks right now!" face. And MANY MANY MANY more! It's just DELIGHTFUL let me tell you! I worked with her on potty training for about 2 days and she did AWESOME! Then I had to go to work the WHOLE next week so then nothing got done and now she just doesn't want to do it..FRUSTRATING! But I gave up to for a while so I am done. Anyways I just figure by the time she is a six year old and sees all of her friends going potty she will catch on and want to go to..she can potty train herself..problem solved. Now lets move on...In more exciting news DALLAN IS COMING HOME ON THURSDAY!! YAY!! I cant even wait to see him! He is going to be so weird and preachy I am sure, but I will whip him right into shape quick! Also we just spend the past weekend up north. I decided that I was going to run a 5K to see what it was like to run a race. Well I will tell you what it was like...when I first signed up for the 5K it said it was for family and kids and things like that. You could walk or run it didn't matter, so of course I thought..'What a good first time race, nothing to intense'....uh..ya right! Okay, when I got there that morning to register I saw the path we would be taking and the WHOLE FIRST HALF WAS COMPLETELY UP HILL!!! I think on the waver it should have stated..WARNING: The first half of the run, your knees are very likely to fall off and so is anything below your waste....but my goal was to just run the whole way and not walk. Even though walking fast would have probably been ALOT faster than my run up hill, I was still at a slight jog..gasping for air..wondering when my ACL was going to give out. I really didn't think I would be that tired, I had just ran 6 miles (YES! 6 WHOLE MILES, I HAVE NEVER NEVER RAN THAT FAR IN MY LIFE)on the Wednesday before the race. I'm telling you uphill is a KILLER! Anyways I ended up running it in a half hour, not the greatest but at least I ran the whole way.
I am supposed to run a half marathon next month, uh..let's face it, that's just absolutely NOT going to happen! I can barley run a 5k..I have tried, and I mean REALLY REALLY tried to like running for the past few months, and it is just NOT working out for me at all. Hey at least I tried huh..I made it to six miles..good enough for me. Really, it is truly a Miracle I made it past one!

But we did have a fun weekend, and I am glad that I did it. This last pic is Brynn putting on her own big girl panties..WARNING: Next pic gets a little RACY!!

And I totally hear you on the running thing. Last summer I thought running would be the easiest and most fun part of my triathlon training. I'd never been a good swimmer and the bike rides were enormous. I could run a 5K, right? But no, I hated the running part and the measly little 5K run was the hardest event. I think it's what is stopping me from doing it again this summer. Why can't running be fun?
