Keeping up with the Morris'....

You know..when we were finding out we were having another girl..I was excited. It was so much fun to dress Brynn in all the cute cloths, all the bows, flowers, and headbands. I really was so excited to do it again. Kory on the other hand was completely heartbroken. He wanted a boy more than anything. He NEVER cries. I can think of one time since we have been married, or even dating for that matter, that he has even teared up. Well that day in the elevator he had tears in his eyes. Now I realize that I am one step closer to becoming the Kardashian family..(not a good thing). Don't get me wrong, I love that show for entertainment, but to have that as my life....not so sure! My point being..not that we aren't SO grateful for Shayne, but the question is HOW DO YOU RAISE TWO GIRlS??? SISTERS?? Neither Kory nor I have ever had a sister. What kind of drama fest did I get myself into? Now it's great! But I'm thinking about the dreaded TEEN years...fighting over cloths, boys, and who knows what else. Kory says if our next kid is a girl we are done! Being out numbered 4 to 1 is not worth trying for another boy. So lets all pray for a boy cause if not we will be legally changing our names to...Bruce, Kris, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe.
Now that thought is out of the way this is a little of what we have been up to.

Man I love reading your blog. You need to update it more often. I wish we could all get together one day... Brynn would probably like Jack now. He isn't really a baby anymore so lets get together yeah yeah yeah.

It's hard to tell. My older sister and I never had any drama and there is only 2 years between us but me and my little sister had tons of drama and she is 4 years younger than me. I'll cross my fingers for a boy next time for you guys.

It must be an "only girl" fear. I feel like I'll DIE if I have more than 2 daughters. I've worried about it ever since Ben and I married (possibly even before, but after marriage the reality of it just shot off like a firecracker in my face).

And if it helps Kory feel better about his fears/disappointments (or whatever it is boys feel), Ben had five sisters and is just as terrified of a Kardashian house as I am.

I love that the Kardashian's were your metaphor of choice. You are too clever and witty.

I am the WORST blogger ever! We haven't had the Internet since we moved to Delta. So basically the last year has been CRAZY! After our last blog post we.... *Built a new home..(which ALMOST ended me and Kory's 6 year marriage) *Spent many summer days and the Rez and park. *Brynn started pre-school *Shayne developed her fun,sassy,aggressive,loud,funny personality *We celebrated our 6th year of marriage *Brynn's 5th year of life *Kory started his own heating and air business *Christmas And now here we are in 2012 and Shayne is about to turn 2. You know, when I woke up this morning I was laying in bed wondering what I was going to do today. Saturdays are pretty lonely now with Kory working all the time. Well lucky for me, I had a part of my morning already planned without even knowing it. What a wonderful day today..it's 10:22 and I have already had my 3 year old tell me.. "Mom, I am getting married today, and I also have my baby coming to my wedding"..(as she proceeds to stick her little belly out as far as it can go.) "I will go get ready." Wow.
