Firsts...


So..up until yesterday we had just been using the antenna and getting about 2, on a good day 3 channels. One of those channels was Fox. This channel has the most bizarre news casters I have ever seen. I think they have taken being 'Vegas' news casters to the extreme! One woman is completely OUT OF HER MIND! She is on in the morning and she is NUTS! It's hard to watch and I get embarrassed for her! The weather man is gay, which is fine...but let the hand jesters end and just report the weather! Another man does a nightly piece called 'The Rant'...I will just let you image it for yourselves. Finally I had to break down and pay the $16.04 to watch something else.
An up date here...we have had some firsts..

Brynn's first sleep over

*BRYNN'S FIRST BIKE CRASH...only minor injuries were acquired


Shayne eats her first real baby food..sweet potatoes were a BIG HIT!




Shayne goes swimming...LOVES it!! (Yes, that is a booger in Brynn's nose, clearly not ready for the pic...or for the day for that matter)

Shayne is starting to sit up for a little bit now by herself...not in this pic of course!

*Brynn still LOVES primary, which is a miracle, I thought she wouldn't go when we got here.

* I am surprisingly really liking it down here and have friends!!!!
*Survived the first HEAT ADVISORY of the year.
*First time to see wine bottles at Walmart
*First time seeing guys steal something from a car and run away
*First time being approached to buy stolen goods
*First time being overwhelmed with the welcome into our new ward...(LOVED IT!)
*First time being bit by ..well...still a mystery!
*First time attempting to grow flowers and vegetables.
*First time Brynn and Shayne "talk" to each other...PRICELESS
*First time Brynn ALWAYS prefers Kory and NEVER me..sad feelings..:(
*All in all first time being away from Utah....Has been a absolutely Fabulous experience!

That's so great to hear you guys are adjusting so well! Those girls are so darn cute!
For the most part I love living out of Utah because it makes the trips home that much more fun!

Good, I'm glad you're adjusting and liking it. It's nice when you get settled and like your new town. We're at that point too, although I'll always miss Utah, it's just home.

Jenny when did we grow up!!! Aren't we still supposed to be calling boys for eachother, to either, ask them out for eachother or dump them for eachother??!! haha or maybe we are supposed to still be stealing a random christmas tree to take to the clubhouse at the Judkins, or walk home from the bus stop as slowly as possible so that you miss your piano lessons with Vicky! haha Jenny I'm so proud of you and the mom you are! Glad Vegas is going good.

I am the WORST blogger ever! We haven't had the Internet since we moved to Delta. So basically the last year has been CRAZY! After our last blog post we.... *Built a new home..(which ALMOST ended me and Kory's 6 year marriage) *Spent many summer days and the Rez and park. *Brynn started pre-school *Shayne developed her fun,sassy,aggressive,loud,funny personality *We celebrated our 6th year of marriage *Brynn's 5th year of life *Kory started his own heating and air business *Christmas And now here we are in 2012 and Shayne is about to turn 2. You know, when I woke up this morning I was laying in bed wondering what I was going to do today. Saturdays are pretty lonely now with Kory working all the time. Well lucky for me, I had a part of my morning already planned without even knowing it. What a wonderful day today..it's 10:22 and I have already had my 3 year old tell me.. "Mom, I am getting married today, and I also have my baby coming to my wedding"..(as she proceeds to stick her little belly out as far as it can go.) "I will go get ready." Wow.
