The POWER of television

Well the time has come that it is TOTALLY OFFICIAL that Kory and I need to watch what we say. We have a little perma tape recorder named Brynn. You never really realize what you say out of habits till it is thrown out of a two year olds mouth and you are in SHOCK! Don't worry things haven't gotten too bad yet..just every once in a while there will be an occasional "oh fetch"..or a "daddy doofus"..among others. The best one yet has NOTHING to do with me and Kory though..last weekend we were driving home from Delta and I looked back at Brynn and she looked back at me with her scowl and her lips popped out and said.."I want to go to Taco Time and I want a burrito." .......WOW! Brynn really????...We have NEVER been to taco time and she definitely has never had a burrito from there..really I don't know she even knew what one was..(she probably doesn't). And if you have ever seen those commercials with the Taco Time girl..she is by far one of the...

Two BIG surprises..one not so great..the other, WONDERFUL!

So we were asked to speak in Sacrament meeting and today was the big day. I was so nervous because we had such a hard topic to talk on. "Sustaining your leaders"...pretty self explanatory don't you think? How do you come up with material for that topic..and I didn't really have any personal experiences either. I guess it is just something that you do. Anyway..we show up to church and sit on the side bench cause we have Brynn, and as the bishop is getting up to start things there is NO ONE sitting up on the stand. I turned to Kory panicked as ever saying.."Oh my gosh..are we the only ones speaking?!?!" Well needless to say YES! We were it! It was the Morris Family Sacrament! I thought for sure there was another couple or a high council man..nope..I was wrong. But I guess there was a song in between Kory and I. Well after my 8 min. talk Kory had the remainder of the time and did an AWESOME job! He managed to talk till about 5 to, so I was really impressed! I w...

Round two..

I think that the picture explains it all..there is really nothing left to say..and for those who cant tell what it is...it is bloated fish...:( (Okay really, lets be honest..that sad face is not my true feelings..fish gross me out BIG TIME and I think they could be one of the sickest things on the face of the Earth!) Floating in that bowl is where they will remain until Kory gets home to get rid of the creatures, there is no way in H-E double hockey sticks I will get near them. As for round three..there will be no round three, we just are not a good pet family I guess. The other pics are of Brynn wearing her Cinderella high hills pushing her stroller thinking she is so dang cool. She wants to wear those shoes where ever we go, but she doesn't get her way on that one. And the last pic..don't mind her 80's bangs..Good ol' Liz ann likes to take things a little to far with the curling iron and comb

Coming soon...out newest addition..

Every time that we go to Brynn's FAVORITE store Walmart, (she asks daily if we can go to Walmart)we have to make sure that we see: 1- The Elmo live dancing doll 2- The juice and fruit snacks 3- The bikes 4- And last but not least her favorite..the fish. So me and Kory decided that, being the cool parents that we are,to buy Brynn two 28 cent goldfish. I know what your thinking..it really doesn't get much better than that. Any who Brynn LOVES them. She will just sit and stare and them FOREVER! She even named them..Dorthy and "The orange one"...aka..Nemo. Any who day 3..still loving the fish, then we noticed that one had made its way right on up to the top. Yes, that is correct, it has passed away..:( So Kory took care of the business and we still had Dorthy. Brynn would ask.."Where did the other one go?"...and "Orange one comin back?" Well just recently Dorthy took a turn for the worst as well. These stupid fish sure are hard to keep alive! It's ...

Out of all these pictures I bet you can't guess when I gave Brynn M&M's...

Caught with my pants down...literally

I'm sure everyone is so sick of hearing about Brynn on EVERY POST that I do..but she is what keeps everything interesting..ALWAYS, so sorry but that's just what your going to have to deal with. And the story begins... Brynn is my little buddy. We go everywhere together and do everything together. This also includes shopping. Well recently shopping has become a bit difficult with her lately. My idea of shopping...finding what I need and trying on things I don't need, looking around for a little bit, and wishing we were not poor college students. Brynn's idea of shopping..running as fast as she can around the store laughing hysterically while mom chases her. Also hiding in/on/underneath the racks. So as you can tell shopping is not what it used to be my NEW idea of shopping.. get in..get out. The last TWO times..yes, that's right TWO times this has occurred..Brynn and I were doing a little shopping at a clothing store here in Cedar. I wanted to try on some pants so me...

Christmas

This year was so much fun because Brynn actually understood what was going on for the most part. If you were to ask her what Santa was bringing her she would say.."a abby backpack"..(abby cadabby..from sesame street), and also candy. Well she got both of those thing plus the usual p.j's, books and toys...but the BIG present of the day was what Kory and I waited in line for in the FREEZING snow, at 5am, on Black Friday to get her. Literally running down the isle sprinting past people making complete fools of ourselves all just for this one toy for our Brynster..So of course I was thrilled when she first saw it and HATED it! I really was considering putting her up for sale and getting someone who would appreciate all the hard work I went through to get that DAMN car! But after a little time to warm up to the idea she ended up absolutely LOVING it! She drove it around in a circle (steering lessons still to come) forever!!! It was a NIGHTMARE trying to get her out of that thi...
